This book is a joint effort by DV people to bring Steve’s vision of compiling and publishing the training exercises that he has been creating for the engineering community for years. Like his training programs, this book is also project oriented. The difference is, the book cannot be customized for each individual like the training classes are. The exercises provided in this book are classroom tested and will surely help you learn the basics of UG NX. For customized basic or advanced training, for your organization, contact Steve at DV.

This book hardly provides any more information than Unigraphic's built in help menu. This book contains "projects" that lead the user through different exercises, however the instructions for the projects are often vague and not clear. I often had to refer back to the built in help menu to complete the exercises.
The sixth project in chapter 6 "Form Features" does not adequately explain how to create a guide string to sweep your string sketch along. I had to refer to the help menu to figure this part out.
I would not recommend this book to others.
