The NEi Nastran Tutorial Version 9.1 gives you a practical overview and how-to for using NEi Nastran and Femap software together to analyze structures and mechanical models under dynamic loads using finite element analysis simulation.
This is the spiral bound print version of the tutorial that comes on the CD with the NEi Nastran software. This big book contais 437 pages that feature big, easy-to-read print with lots of graphics, screen shots and menu shots.
Subjects covered include: static analyses of a solid model, beam model, midsurface model, ; buckling analysis of a bracket; static and nonlinear analysis of simple assembly; nonlinear contact analysis using contact surface elements; transient heat transfer and multiphysics; and nonlinear transient response. Also included are analyses of normal modes, as well as frequency, random and transient responses. Last, but not least, the book covers large strain analyses of hyperelastic material with coefficients and test data.
