Lots of Symbols Jan 04, 2007
A lot of symbols for the price, a lot easier than drawing them yourself.
Take Note they are not compatible with AutoSketch 9, even though Amazon will sell them together as a package, they do not work together. Check it out at the AutoDesk web site.

Dated Blocks and For Chemical Engineers---No Sep 18, 2006
I skimmed through the CD after loading it on my computer. Unfortunately, the CD is rather old. The symbols are the old simple blocks used a few years ago. They are still useful but not as clear as one might find at an engineering company, which is the environment I am acquainted with. I was impressed by the wide range of symbols for architecture, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and electrical. You will find a few chemical engineering symbols in the mechanical group. The piping blocks are very complete and will be useful. I was somewhat disapointed. This will be a great opportunity for Autodesk to update.

First, this is an add on package for AutoCAD 2000 LT. There are many thousands of "templates" with every sort of object imaginal, from welding symboles to TV's. The only problem is your paying for the extra %95 you don't use. But to get propley sized symboles and to save time, you can't go wrong with this package. I highly reccmend it, by the way, I use it for residental and commercial floor plan layouts.
